Hi my name is Nicola and I am a certified ADHD coach that has trained in both the basic and family coaching programs with the ADD Coaching Academy (ADDCA) which is accredited with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC). I also have Executive Function Coach training through the Connections in Mind Foundation out of the UK.
I have a background in change management and worked for 15 years helping people navigate transition and I also hold a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems.
It was a natural transition for me to move towards ADHD coaching with my background in helping people manage change, as well as my passion for learning and helping people. The more I learned helping my own family the more passionate I became about ADHD Coaching and I decided to return to school to learn more about this field and further develop my skills.
My coaching journey began with supporting my family. When our oldest child was diagnosed with ADHD & ASD I began researching the disorders with a focus on how I could implement practical solutions in our home and build skills and self awareness. I started to see that there was real value in a strength and solutions based approach:

I started to see that there was real value in a strength and solutions based approach:
I noticed when using a strength and solution based approach our family dynamic was changing in a positive way. I wanted more of this type of support and so I continued learning on my own through research and trial and error and the more I learned the more I realized that coaching incorporated many of my strengths and passions and I began to think about training so that I could further support my family and others.
I have taken the knowledge I've gained with my own family, my previous professional roles and what I have learned in the coach training programs and applied it in my coaching practice to help individuals and families impacted by ADHD.
In My Free Time
In my free time I like to garden, cook, travel, read, play soccer, coach youth in soccer, and take my dogs for a walk.
