Coaching is a collaborative approach - meaning I work with you or your family to help problem solve challenge spots.
How does ADHD coaching differ? I am a catalyst of specific knowledge and can help you or your family get unstuck in areas where ADHD is creating struggles.
Coaching is a unique approach as it empowers you or your family, by building knowledge and self awareness we figure out what customized supports and systems you need to help you move forward!
Coaching can be transformative - but it is up to you or your family - you or your family will have to work to get results and commit to trying new things and building new habits - change takes time, experimentation and practice!
One-On-One ADHD coaching focuses on getting to know your ADHD and how it presents through self exploration and tools.
Using the information we have learned about you we look at the areas of your life you would like to change and what tools, supports and structure you need to set you up for success!
It is recommended that you commit to three months of coaching as change takes time to implement. The number of coaching sessions per month can vary depending on which package you choose.

My spouse also has ADHD and so do both of my children (one boy and one girl). Simply put I have a lot of practical experience with ADHD on a personal level, as a spouse and as a parent!
Professional Training - I have trained with the leading centre on ADHD Coaching - the ADD Coaching Academy (ADDCA) and Executive Function Coaching through Connections in Mind. I have training as an ADHD and Executive Function Coach - with both adults, parents and children.
What Does a Typical Session Look Like?
Sessions are client driven, meaning the client brings the topic to the session they would like to explore and we explore it together. If a client is struggling with picking a topic we can explore a variety of ideas they have, often in this exploration the client will gain clarity around what they want to more forward with in the session.
What does a plan look like? This will look different for each client depending on what they are aiming to change. For some the changes they wish to make are more practical in nature such as improving productivity and these types of plans tend to be more hands on such as developing a new planning system to try out. For others the change they wish to make is rooted in behaviours and the plan we create is centered around prompts, supports and strategies they can employ to support them through this change to build new habits.
Do I Need an Official Diagnosis to Work with You?
You do not need an official ADHD diagnosis to work with an ADHD Coach
You do not need to have a self diagnosis of ADHD to work with an ADHD Coach
I work with anyone. I am trained as a life coach with additional education and a specialized approach that works best for those with ADHD!
How Do I Find Out More About Coaching Fees?
My coaching fees are reasonably priced at $120 +tax for a One-on-One 60min session, family coaching rates are a little higher
My fees include support between sessions, handouts, and exercises to do at home
I do not subscribe to a package model for fees. I take this approach as I have found clients benefit from the flexibility of booking sessions based on need or schedules or both
Sliding Scale: I realize that some people going through difficult times do not need the added financial stress of coaching. If you are hesitating to start ADHD coaching due to the fees, please contact me and we can discuss a workable fee structure
